The Orange Bird of Paradise sports flowers borne in clusters on a long stalk which resemble the head of a tropical bird! It is a very large plant. This plant is known to attract hummingbirds and butterflies.

Proper Care:

The Bird of Paradise will do best in a sunny area, however it will tolerate direct sunlight to low indirect light. For watering, keep the soil moist being careful not to oversaturate. Over winter allow the top two inches of soil to dry before watering again. Mist occasionally to provide this plant with humidity.

Optional Add On:
-Tropical Plant 16-6-11 Fertilizer, 16oz container. Use 2 TBSP of fertilizer per 3 gallon plant or 1/2 TBSP per 1 gallon plant, every 3 months.
-Indoor Plant Potting Soil
-Heat Pack: If you live in a cold area (nightly temp reaching below 38F, or if you ship through a cold route) please make sure to add a heat pack! We are not responsible for plants with cold damage due to lack of purchasing a heat pack.
