Details: TapeMat electric floor warming mats have an open-weave design that provides for a 1-step mortar installation. Each mat is edged with easy-to-install double-sided tape that adheres to a subfloor for faster layouts. The open-weave mesh allows mortar to bond easily with the underlying material. TapeMat electric floor warming mats add only 1/8' thickness to a typical tile floor installation and can be adjusted easily to accommodate curves, angles, and cut-outs. All mats have the 'S-pattern' wire construction and produce 12 watts/sq. ft. (41 Btu/hr/sq. ft.), which is enough to heat many spaces.
