Details: Acer palmatum 'Calico' (Calico Japanese Maple) * Part shade * Zones 5-9 * 6' tall * 5' wide Bright yellow and orange in Spring! In Fall it is mostly yellow with oranges and hints of red!! Calico is strong growing palmatum that is similar to Katsura but much smaller in scale. Calico emerges bright orange yellow in the spring and then leaves turn to a pleasing lime green in the summer. Fall colors are mostly yellow and orange with tinges of red. Strong growing to 6'. Great for smaller gardens. Sun/ part shade.
