Originally from Brazilian rainforests, Calathea Peacock can thrive indoors with proper care. It makes a wonderful choice for a houseplant and can light up any living space. This plant also helps to purify the air and eliminate common toxins. Peacock plant can grow up to 2 feet in height and its stunning foliage with bold markings can grow up to 12' in length. Peacock plant needs bright, indirect, or filtered light. Too little light can stunt its growth and harsh direct sunlight can burn its leaves. This plant has medium water requirements. Aim to keep the soil relatively moist but not waterlogged. This plant prefers soils that can retain moisture but still drain well.
