Details: The Black Magic Taro Plant is a cultivated color variety of the Elephant Ear Plant that is sure to draw welcome attention to your pond landscape. Exotic in appearance, this plant makes a fantastic statement in any pond or water garden thanks to its towering presence, oversized leaves, and dramatic coloration. Under favorable conditions, the Black Magic Taro Plant can grow up to 4 feet tall (or more) boasting large arrow or heart-shaped leaves that resemble the ears of an elephant. The leaves can grow up to 3 feet in length to boldly showcase its brooding black/purple coloration. Burgundy-colored stems inject an unexpected pop of color that keeps the color palette from becoming overwhelming. The Black Magic Taro Plant makes a dramatic focal point to your pond or water garden especially when paired with plants with brighter, lighter colored foliage.
