Details: Antler Chicory can handle any soil type, from extreme drought to extreme wetness. Ideal pH is between 5 and 8.2, with an ideal soil temperature of 45 °F. The seed is best planted during Spring or early Fall, at a depth of 1/8”. It will make a very deep taproot and persist for three to four years. Primarily used for grazing applications due to high moisture content, Antler Chicory will accumulate minerals naturally. A good source of the trace minerals potassium, calcium, magnesium, sulfur, zinc, and sodium, Antler Chicory will also help control gastrointestinal nematodes.
